Hi there... thank you so much for being here!

My name is Anita. I'm married, with a daughter out on her own and a son in high school. We currently live in a 27' RV, with two big dogs, a Catahoula Leopard dog named Ranger and an Australian Shepherd named Gunner. We are searching for just the right house to call "home".

After losing our home (and 95% of our town) to an EF5 tornado in 2007, we have been struggling to find a place to put our home... but we've learned that "home" isn't a place, it is the relationship you have with God and the people you care about.

This blog came from a realization that I've been struggling to keep sight of who I am, me alone, not me trying to please everyone else. I am a highly creative being, and making things - art, words, crocheted things - is a big part of my self expression. These are the things I hope to use here to work through issues, and I hope the things I learn might help others in their own struggles.

I've decided to include a fun list that might help you learn a little more about me... here goes!

  1. it's very nice learning something about you Anita. I'm sorry you lost your physical home but I agree with what you said about relationships with God and those close to you... :)
I don't have facebook so I will only be able to see what you post here. Have a great day!

    1. Thank you :) I enjoy the blog much more than Facebook, but my "real life" (for lack of a better description!) prefer Facebook... but I will be posting the things I've made here, too!
